As research for a horror movie, a group of actors attend a seance at an abandoned orphanage where they encounter evil spirits.

Scared To Death is a supernatural horror thriller that blurs the line between fiction and reality as a group of actors preparing for a horror film agree to participate in a real séance for research. Hoping to impress the production and launch his directing career, an ambitious production assistant leads the cast to an abandoned orphanage where five children mysteriously died in 1954—victims who were literally frightened to death. Once the séance begins, the group discovers that the building is haunted by the restless spirits of the children and an ancient evil determined to claim new victims.

As supernatural forces trap the cast inside the decaying orphanage, possession, terror, and psychological horror escalate into a desperate struggle for survival. Combining haunted-house atmosphere, ghostly apparitions, occult horror, and suspense, the film delivers a modern supernatural nightmare rooted in classic séance mythology.

Directed by Rae Dawn Chong and Paul Boyd and produced by Eric Barrett and Todd Slater, the film stars Lin Shaye, Bill Moseley, Olivier Paris, Victoria Konefal, Jade Chynoweth, B.J. Minor, and Kurt Deimer in an ensemble haunted-house thriller.
