Through the perspectives of several historical figures, the story reveals how internal division proved as destructive as the Roman siege itself.

Created using over a thousand hand-painted images, the film presents this pivotal chapter in history through a striking visual style that blends historical drama with graphic-novel storytelling. The English-language version features the voices of Oscar Isaac (Dune), Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man), Billy Zane (Titanic), Elliott Gould (Ocean's Eleven), and Marilu Henner (Taxi).
