An obsessive-compulsive teenager searches for a way to rid her home of the ghost haunting it, but their unexpected connection makes it hard to let go.

Intermedium is a heartfelt supernatural romantic comedy that blends ghost story, coming-of-age drama, and musical charm into an uplifting tale about grief, friendship, and learning to let go. Aspiring actress Bridget Daugherty, a teenager living with obsessive-compulsive disorder, moves to a quiet New England town to live with her father only to discover that her new home is haunted by the ghost of Kyle Donovan. Determined to free herself from her unexpected roommate, Bridget sets out to help Kyle move on, but the pair gradually develop an unlikely friendship that changes both of their lives.

As Bridget uncovers the people and memories connected to Kyle's unfinished life, her determination to send him away becomes increasingly complicated by the emotional bond they share. Filled with warmth, humor, romance, and several jazzy musical numbers, the film explores acceptance, compassion, and the importance of truly seeing one another beyond appearances and past regrets.
