On his 14th album, the multi-instrumentalist Al Gromer Khan creates a homogenous symbiosis of traditional instruments (in addition to the sitar and bass sitar, also including the surbahar, Indian and African percussion, the accordion and piano) and electronic elements. A delicately designed bridge between the past, present and (possible) future -- because Gromer believes that man will continue to turn to contemplative music for years to come. He is firmly convinced that sooner or later everyone will be drawn to this form, because it is much less ''composed'' and ''structured'' than modern pop music. A difference which Gromer once illustrated by comparing it to a cup of tea: 'Western music, starting from its origins right up to modern dance music, offers us all possible forms of cups which are all important and useful in their own way. But in my opinion, everyone will eventually reach the point where (s)he will lose the meaning of such beauty. (S)He feels thirsty and wants to drink. But the thirst of the soul cannot be satisfied with every form of music.'
